Ferg’s Imaginary Big Band joins forces with Leeds neo-soul sweet heart KONL for a tribute to the cultural hub that is Hyde Park Book Club. Inspired by KONL’s brief ownership of 1986 Cadillac Deville in the summer of 2014 and the big band’s insatiable thirst for house lager, the song is a tribute to taking an ageing muscle car to your favourite coffee shop/bar/arts space. The B-side is from ¡Los Imaginarios Navideos!, a garage rock duo featuring Hamish ‘Sonic’ Dixon on drums and production and Fergus ‘Quistmas’ Quill on vocals and instruments, playing the Christmas classic ‘Don’t Believe In Christmas’. This is a vinyl only release, available only from Hyde Park Book Club, The Imaginary Big Band merch table or here on Bandcamp. Don’t sleep on this as once they are gone they are gone!
